Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a base (11) that is provided with a working head for mounting components supplied by component supply units (22) onto a substrate; and a carriage (21) that is attached to and detached from the base (11) and has a feeder base part (32) which holds the plurality of component supply units (22) side by side. The base (11) comprises a moving part (39) that incorporates a carrier tape cutting device, and a moving-part drive mechanism (40) that drives the moving part (39). The moving part (39) is provided in a state in which raising/lowering movement thereof relative to the base (11) is allowed, and the moving-part drive mechanism (40) moves the moving part (39) upward relative to the base (11) in a state in which the carriage (21) is attached to the base (11), and thereby raises and holds the feeder base part (32) by the moving part (39).
