Abstract:

This component mounting system comprises an execution order determining unit for determining an execution order for a plurality of mounting jobs, and a job switching unit for switching mounting jobs. The execution order determining unit determines a total value or a lowest value of the ratios of components that are commonly used between successive mounting jobs if a plurality of mounting jobs are executed by a component mounting machine in each of a plurality of orders, and determines an execution order for the plurality of mounting jobs on the basis of the total value or the lowest value determined for each of the plurality of orders. The job switching unit, when switching earlier and later mounting jobs that are successive in the determined execution order, holds a feeder storing those of the components used for the earlier mounting job that are common to the components to be used for the later mounting job at a receiving portion, and attaches a feeder storing those of the components to be used for the later mounting job that are not common to the components used for the earlier mounting job to a vacant receiving portion among a plurality of receiving portions.
