The present application relates to a component processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, a storage medium, and a product, the method comprising: sending a module information entity request to a target platform, the module information entity request comprising a module identifier corresponding to a target component (S110); receiving a module information entity, corresponding to the target component, sent from the target platform (S120); and invoking a component software development kit to render the target component in a document on the basis of the module information entity (S130). By rendering and running, in the document by means of the component software development kit, the target component sent by the target platform, a corresponding function is implemented in the form of a component in the document, thereby diversifying document functions to meet different user needs.
