The purposes of the present invention are to enable a plurality of types of members to be fixed without preparing a plurality of types of jigs, and to perform machining on the fixed members. This component production method is provided with: a step (S2) in which a plurality of support devices disposed along a long frame bind the frame; a step (S4) in which a distance sensor measures the distance to the frame supported by the plurality of support devices; a step (S8) in which the support devices move, on the basis of frame shape data pre-recorded in a memory, the support position in which the frame is supported, such that a calculated position of the frame in the radial direction, said frame being supported by the support devices, matches the data related to the frame shape; a step (S9) in which the frame is fixed while the position of the frame in the radial direction is in a state of matching the data related to the frame shape; and a step (S10) in which boring machining is performed on the fixed frame.
