Abstract:
A component securing structure equipped with: a first component (1) having sheet-like protruding pieces (112, 122); and a second component (2) having retaining pieces (4) and a seating surface (312a) that grip the protruding pieces (112, 122). The retaining pieces (4) are equipped with leg parts (41) that protrude from the main body part (21) of the second component (2), and an engaging part (42) that extends so as to bend from the tip end of the leg parts (41) and engage the protruding piece (112). With this component securing structure the protruding pieces (112, 122) are gripped between the engaging part (42) and the seating surface (312a), thereby securing the first component (1) to the second component (2). The protruding pieces (112, 122) include a first protruding piece (112), which makes contact with the engaging part (42) in an elastically deformed state, and a second protruding piece (122), which makes contact with the seating surface (312a) in an elastically deformed state.
