Abstract:

A component separating device has a substrate in which a flow path for receiving a fluid containing a liquid component and a solid component, an actuator for vibrating the fluid received in the flow path, and a take-out section for taking out either the liquid component or solid component of the fluid. The actuator has a first electrode provided on the substrate, separated from the flow path, a piezoelectric body provided on the first electrode, and a second electrode provided on the piezoelectric body. The separating device can separate a component efficiently without the actuator contaminated by a fluid.
