Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a body frame (41) having a transfer path and a discharge path (46) for a carrier tape; a tape cover (44) covering over part of a downstream portion of the transfer path; a transfer unit comprising a positioning sprocket (51) that engages with a carrier tape positioned in a predetermined section of the transfer path covered by the tape cover (44); and a first positioning pin (33) inserted into a first insertion hole (25) that is formed in a feeder mounting unit (18). The first positioning pin (33) is mounted to a body unit at a position higher than the height of the rotational center of the positioning sprocket (51). The discharge path (46) has a discharge path inlet (46A) positioned at a location downstream of a component outlet and closer to the component outlet than the first positioning pin (33), and a discharge path outlet (46B) positioned lower than the first positioning pin (33).
