The present invention relates to a composite cable (100) for power line communication (PLC) and, more particularly, to a flat composite cable (100) for PLC, which can branch a PLC signal at an access point (P), at which the PLC signal is to be branched, without cutting a cable coat (140). A composite cable (100) for PLC according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an optical cable (110) extending in the lengthwise direction; a coated communication line (120) extending in the lengthwise direction to be spaced apart from one side or opposite sides of the optical cable (110) in the widthwise direction; and a coat (140) extending in the lengthwise direction while covering the optical cable (110) and the coated communication line (120) to fix a spaced location between the optical cable (110) and the coated communication line (120), wherein the coat (140) has a quadrangular lengthwise cross-section. Thus, the cable can easily branch a PLC signal using a signal extraction member (70) at any place where the access point (P) is located without cutting the cable even for the occurrence of a branch point, thereby reducing a construction time, costs, and an access failure rate.
