A composite coated steel and a preparation method therefor, which relate to the technical field of coating and plating. The composite coated steel comprises a steel substrate, an intermediate layer and a plating layer. The intermediate layer is located between the steel substrate and the plating layer. The intermediate layer is an alloy layer, 10-200 nm thick. The composite coated steel has an excellent corrosion resistance, a low surface defect rate of the plating layer, and a high anti-stripping strength of the plating layer.
