Abstract:
Provided is an ink composition suited to industrial production that has excellent writing bleeding prevention and scratch resistance. The present invention relates to composite colored particles that include resin particles having a positive charge on the particle surface and pigment particles having a negative charge on the particle surface, made into a composite by the electrostatic interaction of the resin particles and the pigment particles, an aqueous ink composition in which the composite colored particles are dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium, and a writing instrument equipped with the aqueous ink composition. The present invention also relates to a method for producing composite colored particles that includes a compositing step for mixing a resin emulsion including resin particles having a positive charge on the particle surface and a pigment dispersion including pigment particles having a negative charge on the particle surface.
