Title:
COMPOSITE FILM AND FIBRE OF KERATINS AND CELLULOSE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/126605
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to composites, in particular to films and fibres of cellulose and keratin, and to methods for their production. The present invention aims to address at least disadvantages association with the prior art of solubilising keratin wastes, and to go further into production of new hybrid bio- composite membranes and fibres for textile and technical usages based on intimate mixture of polypeptides from keratin materials and cellulose from cellulose materials.
