Abstract:
The invention relates to, inter alia, a composite profiled section, in particular for windows and doors, comprising an extruded plastic profiled section (10, 20) and at least one reinforcement element (1, 2, 4, 5) that is connected thereto in a largely shear-resistant manner. Said composite profiled section is characterized by at least one holding element (3) on the reinforcement element (1, 2, 4, 5) to form/establish an integral bond, frictional engagement, and/or a positive connection between the reinforcement element (1, 2, 4, 5) and the plastic profiled section (10, 20), said holding element (3) acting in both the transverse and the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement element (1, 2, 4, 5) on the plane of the reinforcement element (1, 2, 3, 4).
