Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention is a composite semipermeable membrane comprising a semipermeable membrane layer and a porous support layer, wherein the semipermeable membrane layer includes a cross-linked polyamide that is obtained by polymerizing a multifunctional amine compound and a multifunctional acid halide compound, and a structural parameter of the support layer as measured using the composite semipermeable membrane is smaller than the thickness of the support layer.
