Abstract:
The composite structure according to the present invention is formed by joining, in a state in which at least a portion of a roughened surface of a metallic member is included, the metallic member and a resin member composed of a molding obtained by melt-molding a polyarylene sulfide resin composition containing polyarylene sulfide resin. In the roughened surface, the integrated porous volume of fine pores having a diameter of 0.1-20 μm as measured by mercury intrusion method falls within a range of 0.5-5 nL/mm2. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide: a composite structure that is formed by joining a metallic member and a molding of a polyarylene sulfide resin composition and that has excellent joining strength, heat cycle resistance, and sealing properties; and a manufacturing method for such a composite structure.
