Abstract:
Provided are a composite vibration control body with a novel structure and a metal spring equipped composite vibration control body using the composite vibration control body with a novel structure, with which superior vibration control properties can be realized. A composite vibration control body 10 has a structure in which a first elastic body 12 and a second elastic body 14 are mutually overlapped, wherein: the first elastic body 12 is formed from a material with greater attenuation than the second elastic body 14; a recessed section 18 that opens to a surface of the first elastic body 12 is provided so that a space 22 is formed by the recessed section 18; and a strain section 28, where strain is greater when a load is applied, is provided in a wall section of the space 22 in the elastic body 12.
