Abstract:
This composition for an acoustic lens contains components (a)-(c) which are: (a) a straight-chain polysiloxane having a vinyl group; (b) a straight-chain polysiloxane having at least two Si-H groups in the molecular chain; and (c) surface-treated silica particles. In a particle size distribution of the component (c) obtained by a scanning transmission electron microscope, at least one local maximum peak is detected in the range of not less than 16 nm but less than 100 nm, and at least one local maximum peak is detected in the range of not less than 8 nm but less than 16 nm. This acoustic lens is obtained by curing the composition for an acoustic lens. This acoustic probe, this ultrasonic probe, this acoustic measurement device, this ultrasonic diagnostic device, this photoacoustic measurement device, and this ultrasonic endoscope each have the acoustic lens. This method for producing an acoustic probe uses the composition for an acoustic lens.
