Abstract:
A composition characterized in that it comprises a heat-resistant high functional polymer and/or poly(vinyl alcohol) and is of the form of (a) a fine powder having a long diameter of 0.1 $g(m)m to 100 $g(m)m, or (b) a fine fibrous material having a long diameter of the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of 0.1 $g(m)m to 100 $g(m)m and an arithmetic average fiber length of 0.01 mm to 1 mm, or (c) a mixture of the powder and the fibrous material. The composition can also be prepared from a waste or the like. The composition can utilize a material obtained from a waste and the like and is a fine powdery and/or fine fibrous material comprising a heat-resistant high functional polymer and/or poly(vinyl alcohol), which can be used as a chemical admixture for a composite material such as FRP.
