Title:
COMPOSITION CONTAINING AMPHOTERIC WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/068552
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a composition excelling in various coagulation properties exhibited with various sludges and paper making systems, especially excelling as a polymer coagulant; provide a sludge dehydrating agent excelling in dehydration performance in various sludges, especially excelling in granulation performance; and provide a novel yield improver capable of not only naturally realizing high yield ratio but also ensuring high texture of paper and further being easy in application method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a composition comprising two or more types of amphoteric water-soluble polymers obtained by polymerization of a cationic radical-polymerizable monomer and an anionic radical-polymerizable monomer in the presence of a polysaccharide, as follows: 1. with respect to polymers as mentioned above, use of a polymer wherein the molar ratio of cationic radical-polymerizable monomer to anionic radical-polymerizable monomer (hereinbelow referred to as Ca/An) satisfies the relationship: Ca/An≥1 in combination with a polymer wherein the relationship: Ca/An<1 is satisfied, and 2. with respect to polymers as mentioned above, joint use of two polymers wherein the relationship: Ca/An≥1 is satisfied.
