Abstract:

This composition containing black ginger extract comprises a black ginger extract and cyclodextrin, wherein: when the total amount of specific six types of polymethoxyflavone (6PMF) in the composition containing black ginger extract is set to 100 parts by mass, the 5-hydroxy-7-methoxyflavone content of the composition containing black ginger extract is no more than 5 parts by mass; and the absorbance of an aqueous solution of the composition containing black ginger extract with the total amount of the 6PMF adjusted to a specific quantity fulfills the condition P1 / V1 ≥ 1.45.
