Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition containing a macrolactin derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient for prevention or treatment of a foot-and-mouth virus infectious disease. The composition is identified to inhibit the gene expression of foot-and-mouth virus and suppress the proliferation of foot-and-mouth virus therethrough, thereby being expected to effectively cope with the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.
