Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition containing manassantin A or manassantin B for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease prevention or treatment. Since the composition containing manassantin A or manassantin B for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease prevention or treatment of the present invention does not have various side effects such as cardiovascular effects, central effects, hepatic damage, and kidney disease induced by conventional synthetic drug compositions but has the effects of reducing infections induced by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, suppressing the progression and metastasis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, suppressing lipid storage in the liver, anti-apoptosis, and autophagy activation promotion, the composition containing manassantin A or manassantin B for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease prevention or treatment of the present invention can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for non-alcoholic fatty liver prevention and/or treatment or a health functional food composition for non-alcoholic fatty liver prevention and/or improvement.
