Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition for controlling a plant disease comprising a tetrazolinone compound represented by formula (1) wherein X1 represents a halogen atom etc., and X2 represents a C1-C3 alkyl group etc., and at least one amidine compound selected from the following group (A), and a method for controlling a plant disease, comprising a step of applying each effective amount of the above-mentioned tetrazolinone compound represented by the formula (1) and the at least one amidine compound selected from the following group (A) to a plant or soil for cultivating the plant, Group (A): a group consisting of N'-{4-[(4,5-dichlorothiazol-2-yl)oxy]-2,5-dimethylphenyl}-N-ethyl-N-methylmethane imidamide and N'-(2,5-dimethyl-4-phenoxyphenyl)-N-ethyl-N-methylmethane imidamide, the composition and method having excellent control efficacies against plant diseases.
