Disclosed is a light-emitting composition comprising a component (1), a component (2), and at least one type of component selected from the group consisting of a component (3), a component (4) and a component (4-1), wherein the content of halogen atoms included in the component (2) is equal to or less than 5500 mass ppm with respect to the total mass of the composition. The component (1) is a perovskite compound including A, B, and X as constituent components. (A is a component, in a perovskite-type crystal structure, located at each vertex of a hexahedron with B at the center, and is a monovalent cation. X represents a component, in the perovskite-type crystal structure, located at each vertex of an octahedron with B at the center, and is at least one type of anion selected from the group consisting of halide ions and thiocyanate ion. B is a component, in the perovskite-type crystal structure, located at the center of the hexahedron with A arranged at the vertices and the octahedron with X arranged at the vertices, and is a metal ion.) The component (2) is a halogen-containing compound, the component (3) is a solvent, the component (4) is a polymerizable compound, and the component (4-1) is a polymer.
