Abstract:
Disclosed is a medicinal agent, a food or a beverage which comprises a naturally occurring and highly safe compound as an active ingredient, which can enhance the blood circulation in a periodontal tissue, which can induce a basic fibroblast growth factor in a periodontal tissue or an alveolar bone, and which has a function of regenerating a periodontal tissue or an alveolar bone that has been destructed or regressed by a periodontal disease. Specifically disclosed is a medicinal agent, a food or a beverage which comprises an adenine-type nucleic acid compound (e.g., adenosine, AMP) alone or a combination of the adenine-type nucleic acid compound and polyphosphoric acid as an active ingredient or active ingredients.
