Abstract:
A composition for improving liver function damage and the use thereof. The composition comprises the following components: citrus flavonoid, citrus fiber and fructooligosaccharide. The combined use of citrus flavonoid, citrus fiber and fructooligosaccharide in the composition has the effect of reducing the content of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in the liver, can also reduce the content of inflammatory mediator factors bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the liver, can improve the liver function damage caused by the increase of the content of at least one of ALT, ALP, LPS and IL-6, and can treat or improve liver inflammation caused by long-term consumption of artificial sweeteners such as sucralose or saccharin.
