Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, a food composition, or a quasi-drug composition, comprising, as effective components, extracts of gallic acid, Biancaea sappan, Rheum undulatum, Euodia officinalis, Potentilla kleiniana, Toona sinensis seeds, or Piper methysticum. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition comprising said extracts as effective components for: antioxidant effects; skin moisturization; skin brightening; alleviation of skin troubles; reduction of skin wrinkles; enhancement of skin elasticity; or skin regeneration. The composition of the present invention is effective in terms of anti-saccharification, melanin reduction, anti-inflammation, promotion of collagen synthesis, inhibition of elastase activities, and cell proliferation, and thus can be beneficially used for antioxidant effects, skin moisturization, skin brightening, alleviation of skin troubles, reduction of skin wrinkles, enhancement of skin elasticity, and skin regeneration. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention may be used as a cosmetic composition, a food composition, or a quasi-drug composition that is safe for the skin while providing desirable effects for improving skin conditions.
