Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition that can improve, suppress reduction of, or maintain energy production, that is effective in improving, suppressing reduction of, or maintaining energy production, and that is highly safe and can be ingested continuously. The present invention relates to a composition for improving, suppressing reduction or, or maintaining energy production that contains as active ingredients the following components (A) and (B): (A) sesamin compounds and (B) astaxanthin compounds, in which the weight ratio ((A)/(B)) of component (A) (in terms of sesamin) to component (B) (in terms of astaxanthin) is 0.05 to 15.
