Abstract:
The present invention relates to a health functional food composition for preventing or alleviating influenza virus infection and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating same, the compositions containing fermented products of an Ostericum koreanum extract, or fractions thereof. In addition, the present invention relates to a health functional food composition for preventing or alleviating influenza virus infection and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating same, the compositions containing nodakenetin.
More specifically, the fermented product of Ostericum koreanum extract or the fraction thereof, according to the present invention, inhibits the proliferation of influenza virus infection by inhibiting the activity of neuraminidase, and thus can be effectively used as a health functional food composition for preventing or alleviating influenza virus infection, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating same, and the like.
