Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for a thermoplastic lane paint, comprising color stone granules or alumina and silica powder that has a low specific gravity, and a method for marking a lane by using same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for a lane paint, which can increase the whiteness index, yellowness index and blueness index of a thermoplastic lane paint, and in which, for the purpose of maximizing the surface exposure of glass beads and thereby ensuring an enhanced retro-reflection rate, an additive comprising color stone granules or alumina, each having a particle size of 0.2 - 0.8 mm, and silica powder having a low specific gravity that has a particle size of 13 - 265㎛ and an apparent specific gravity of 0.03 - 0.1 is mixed with the thermoplastic lane paint comprising the glass beads. The present invention also relates to a method for marking a lane by using the composition for a lane paint.
