Abstract:
The present disclosure describes a technology that uses a mixture of monobenzyltoluene isomers of controlled composition as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier on the basis of the properties of individual structural isomers (ortho-, meta-, and para-isomers) of monobenzyltoluene, and is capable of storing and releasing hydrogen with a high selective conversion rate and high efficiency by suppressing factors that inhibit a stable hydrogenation/dehydrogenation cycle.
