Abstract:
Provided is a composition for a power storage device, the composition having exceptional dispersiveness of CNT or another electroconductive auxiliary agent. Also provided is a slurry for a power storage device electrode, the slurry having exceptional storage stability. Additionally provided is a power storage device with which it is possible to shorten a charging time and to reduce any variation in storage capacity. A composition for a power storage device according to the present invention contains a polymer (A), an electroconductive auxiliary agent (B), and water. The polymer (A) contains a segment (I) that includes 50-95 mass% of repeating units (a1) derived from (meth)acrylamide, and a segment (II) that includes 1-50 mass% of repeating units (a2) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester (excluding unsaturated carboxylic acid esters that have hydroxyl groups), where the total of repeating units included in the polymer (A) is taken as 100 mass%. The weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of the polymer (A) is 2,000-100,000. The solubility of the polymer (A) in water at 25°C and 1 atm is 1 g or greater per 100 g of water.
