Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating metabolic diseases, containing a Passiflora caerulea extract as an active ingredient. The composition has the effects of reducing the expression of adipogenesis proteins so as to reduce fat tissue, reducing triglyceride and total cholesterol, and reducing body weight, and thus can be effectively used in the prevention, alleviation or treatment of metabolic diseases.
