Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating obesity, comprising, as an active ingredient, a complex of a Withania somnifera extract and a Chrysanthemum zawadskii Herbich var. latilobum (Maxim.) Kitamura extract. The complex provided in the present invention has the excellent effects of inhibiting adipocyte differentiation, inhibiting lipid accumulation in adipocytes, and having pancreatic lipase inhibition activity, and thus can be used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity and as a health functional food and a food composition for preventing or alleviating obesity.
