Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating periodontal diseases, the composition containing a combination of Zanthoxylum schinifolium extract and Wasabia japonica leaf extract, which are natural extracts, as an active ingredient. The composition according to the present invention exhibits an anti-inflammatory effect against periodontal diseases, and exhibits the effect of preventing, ameliorating, or treating periodontal diseases by suppressing periodontal bone loss and protecting collagen in gum tissue.
