Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a composition for preventing plant diseases, containing, as an active ingredient, any one or more selected from the group consisting of a Brevibacillus brevis strain HK544, a culture medium of the strain, a culture filtrate of the strain, and a fraction of the culture filtrate or edeine B1; and a method for preventing plant diseases by using the composition. The composition for preventing plant diseases, of the present invention, has an excellent prevention effect on various plant diseases such as tomato gray mold, tomato late blight, Puccinia recondita and anthracnose, thereby being effectively usable in preventing plant diseases.
