Abstract:
The present invention concerns a composition for producing coatings for application to or placement on a substrate such as a floor or wall, or for producing castings or extruded parts such as sheets, slabs or tiles, characterized in that it comprises: A. at least one metakaolin; B. an aqueous alkaline solution of at least one alkali metal silicate; and C. an aggregate, the constituents (A) and (B) being intended to form, when placed in contact, a geopolymeric binder for the aggregate (C), with the silicon/alkali metal molar ratio of the mixture of constituents (A) and (B) being between 2.05 and 2.85.
