Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel composition for suppressing or improving depression. Through the present invention, there is provided a composition for suppressing or improving depression, the composition including Lactobacillus paracasei (Lactobacillus
paracasei) as an active ingredient. In the present invention, depression can be considered to occur in daily life. This composition can be provided as a food composition and a supplement, and the Lactobacillus paracasei can be taken in the amount of 1 mg or more in terms of dried cell mass or 109-1011 in terms of number of microbes per day for a human.
