Abstract:
The present invention provides compositions and methods for modulating the secretion of transcriptionally regulated proteins from recombinant cells. More particularly, the present invention provides compositions and methods for accelerating the secretion dynamics of human insulin from recombinant cells using nonsense mediated mRNA decay of preproinsulin mRNA transcript.
