Abstract:
Compositions, such as animal feed compositions, for reducing methane emission and/or for inhibiting one or more methane producing organisms (i.e., methanogens) are described. The use of said compositions to reduce methane emission from animals such as ruminant animals, to inhibit methanogenesis by one or more methanogens in said animals, and/or to increase milk yield and/or body weight gain of said animals is described, as well as related methods.
