Abstract:
The present invention relates to a compound for aggregation-induced emission and a composition for cell imaging using same and, more specifically, to an indolizine molecular framework-based compound for aggregation-induced emission, a mitochondria-targeting complex in which the compound for aggregation-induced emission and a mitochondria-targeting material are bound, and a cell-imaging composition using same. In the present invention, indolizine framework-based, novel aggregation-induced emission luminogens, which have a systematic structure to emit luminescence wavelengths of all colors through a change in electron density at a specific site in molecules, were synthesized, and it was confirmed that, when these luminogens are used in combination with a mitochondria-targeting material, the mitochondria of cells is stained and effective cell imaging is possible without an additional washing process. Therefore, the novel aggregation-induced emission luminogens of the present invention can be utilized usefully in diverse cell imaging.
