Abstract:
A high-efficiency, near-infrared light-emitting organic EL element can be provided by using a compound given by the general formula. At least one of R1-R4 is *-Ar-D, or R1 and R2, R2 and R3, or R3 and R4 are bonded to each other to form an aromatic ring having a D. D represents a donor group and Ar represents an arylene group.
