A compound and a preparation method therefor, and an organic electroluminescent device. The compound has a general formula as shown by formula I, wherein the R group is a substituent containing N, O or S atoms. The compound is applied to a host material of a light-emitting layer for preparing an organic electroluminescent device, and can improve the light-emitting efficiency of same.
