Abstract:
Provided is a compound that includes a peptide structure represented by formula (p1) or (p2). Also provided is a method for producing a droplet using the compound. Xa is an amino acid residue having a hydrophilic side chain. Xb is an amino acid residue having a side chain represented by formula (b1). Xc and Xd each independently an amino acid residue or glycine residue having a hydrophobic side chain. n is an integer between 1 and 3. Ar1 is an optionally substituted aryl group or heteroaryl group. Ar2 is an optionally substituted arylene group or heteroarylene group. Formula (p1): XaXb(XaXc)nXaXdXa. Formula (p2): XaXd(XaXc)nXaXbXa.
