Abstract:
This compressed air supply system is provided with: a bleed passage; an auxiliary compressor unit having a compressor inlet which is fluidly connected to the bleed passage, and a compressor outlet; a supply passage which is fluidly connected to the compressor outlet, and which supplies compressed air from the auxiliary compressor unit to an air cycle machine; an accessory gear box; and a continuously variable transmission unit which changes the speed of a rotary driving force output from the accessory gear box, to rotationally drive the auxiliary compressor unit. The continuously variable transmission unit and the auxiliary compressor unit are fixed to the accessory gear box, and the accessory gear box is fixed to a gas turbine engine.
