Abstract:
A compressor is provided with: a shell (45) being an outer shell and being a component of a refrigerant circuit where a refrigerant containing a disproportionation reaction-inducible substance is used; a compressing chamber (47) disposed inside the shell (45) and configured to compress sucked-in refrigerant and discharge the refrigerant into the shell (45), such that the inside of the shell (45) is kept under a high-pressure refrigerant atmosphere and the refrigerant is then discharged to the outside; and a motor (44) for supplying power to the compressing chamber (47). Disproportionation reactions are made unlikely, thereby allowing safe use of a disproportionation reaction-inducible substance as the refrigerant.
