Abstract:
This compressor in which a welding pin is press-fitted into a hole in the outer surface of a support member supporting a bearing and is welded to be fixed to a casing, suppresses reduction in the holding power of the welding pin after the welding. This scroll compressor comprises: a drive shaft which transmits a drive force of a motor to a compression mechanism; a housing (50) which supports a bearing metal (112) rotatably supporting the drive shaft; a cylindrical casing which receives therein the drive shaft and the housing; and the welding pin. A first hole (124a) is formed in an outer surface (122) of the housing. An uneven surface is provided to the outer periphery of the welding pin. The welding pin is press-fitted into the hole in the housing and welded to be fixed to the casing. At least a part of the periphery of an adjacent portion (126) being adjacent to the first hole in the housing is provided with a low-rigidity area (128) having a lower rigidity than that of the adjacent portion. The low-rigidity area includes a thin portion (128a) having a smaller thickness in the radial direction of the casing than that of the adjacent portion.
