Abstract:
A compressor (30) for a refrigeration cycle system (10) comprises: a compression unit (40) that compresses a working medium containing an ethylene-based fluoroolefin as a refrigerant and a refrigerating machine oil; an electrically-powered unit (50) that has a stator (60) and a rotor (51) rotatable about an axis (C) and that drives the compression unit; a sealed container (31) that is provided with a power feed terminal (36) electrically connectable to an external power source and that stores the working medium, the compression unit, and the electrically-powered unit; and a lead wire (65) connected to the power feed terminal and the stator. The stator has a core (61) and a coil (62) connected to the lead wire and wound on the core. The dielectric strength of the lead wire is higher than that of the coil.
