Abstract:
A compressor (10) is provided with a sealed container (1), a motor (2), and a compression mechanism (3), and has a circulation amount of 1000 [kg/hr] when operating at a maximum revolution number. The motor (2) has a rotor (21) provided on a vertically extending rotational shaft (4), and a stator (22) fixed to the sealed container (1). The compression mechanism (3) is disposed below the motor (2) inside the sealed container (1). The stator (22) has a stator core (41) having a core-cut (46) serving as a refrigerant path (13) between the stator (22) and an inner wall of the sealed container (1). In the compressor (10), (pressure loss caused between an entrance (46a) and an exit (46b) of the core cut (46))/(the gas density of the refrigerant – the density of lubricant) is 1.45 or less.
