Abstract:
Various embodiments provide a computer system for mixing an epoch-based memory reclamation scheme and a pointer-based memory reclamation scheme, and a method therefor. Various embodiments are provided to implement a pointer-and-epoch-based memory reclamation scheme by mixing a pointer-based memory reclamation scheme and an epoch-based memory reclamation scheme, and perform memory reclamation on a concurrent data structure on the basis of the pointer-and-epoch-based memory reclamation scheme.
