Abstract:
The invention relates to the signing of an electronic document, and is applicable in particular to the insertion of an electronic signature into all types of document. The system comprises a client device 1 and a server 2. The method comprises the steps of: - obtaining an address for sending an electronic message to a recipient by way of the client device 1, - the server receiving an electronic document created and transmitted by a client device 1, - the server sending, to the sending address, a message containing a single-use code and a connection link - a communication device 4 receiving the message, connecting this device to the server via the connection link, the device entering the single-use code on the server - the server checking the entered code by comparing this code with the transmitted code, - if the check is positive, the device entering the signature on the server - the server inserting the entered signature into the document.
